The following are golem variants used in this module. Except as noted they are the same as greater golems in the Monster Compendium Volume One. Gold GolemA gold golem is 20' tall and weighs 6000 pounds. Its body is made of poured gold in the likeness of Budda. It is always weaponless and armourless. Combat: The gold golem is mindless in attack. It is completely emotionless and cannot be swayed in any way from its instructions. It will never pick up a weapon in combat. It has a strength of 23 for the purpose of breaking or throwing things. The gold golem is immune to all weapons, except those of +2 or better enchantment. Electrical attacks slow it for three rounds. Magic fire heals it for one HP per die of damage. Jade Golem:A jade golem is five feet tall and weighs 1500 pounds. Its body is carved from a single piece of jade, usually in the likeness of one of the Eight Immortals or a god. Combat: The jade golem is mindless in attack. It is completely emotionless and cannot be swayed in any way from its instructions. It will never pick up a weapon in combat. It has a strength of 21 for the purpose of breaking or throwing things. The jade golem is immune to all weapons, except those of +2 or better enchantment. Jade Bat:A jade bat is a golem with a wingspan of five feet. It weighs 800 pounds and has a body carved from a single piece of jade. Combat: The jade bat is mindless in attack. It is completely emotionless and cannot be swayed in any way from its instructions. It has a strength of 20 for the purpose of breaking things. The jade bat is immune to all weapons, except those of +1 or better enchantment. |
