Days 12 & 13

(Travel on day 12 or Exiting the Tunnel) The light gradually gets brighter and you exit from near the top of a ridge into the winter sunshine. Below, you can see a road stretching across the plain to a city. The stench of combat rises up to greet you as parts of the city burn. The leading units of your column are forcing the defenders back into the city. Your unit follows the road down the hill and you set up camp at the rear of the army guarding the entrance to the tunnel.

	All through the night they will hear sounds of fighting from the city. The city and plains glow where the fires burn.
	The events on the plain below are somewhat of a mystery from up here. The soldiers know that the army of Prince Hei Ho Bang has been destroyed and that the whereabouts of the Prince is unknown. The units from Hel Churl have the remains of the city (it was destroyed in the attack by the Prince) under siege and it is expected that it is only a short time until the whole city is taken. There is a lot of conjecture amongst the troops as to how long it will be before the Central Keep falls. Some say it cannot last long but the general feeling is that it is the best built in the entire world and could take a long time. Most of the troops are happy to be located back here as they are relatively safe. There is a slightly lackadaisical approach because of this.
