The guards will defend themselves and reinforcements will
start arriving immediately. |

If the players were at WTL-014 when the fight started then
there are two guards there when they start the fight. If the players were in WTL-015 when
the combat started then there will be six guards there at the start of the combat. Other
wise there are thirty guards, ten sergeants and twenty lieutenants there at the start of
the combat. |

Four guards arrive. They demand that all participants cease
fighting and drop their weapons. Town folk involved will appear willing to do this. |

If the players continue to fight, the guards will enter the
fight and engage all participants. |

Four guards arrive each round. One sergeant arrives each
third round. One lieutenant arrives each fifth round. The players can surrender, at any
time in the fight, only on days 1 to 10 and the combat win stop.

Days 1 to 10 only: If the players
surrender, the guards will take their weapons and march them to the city lockhouse. If
they have not killed any soldiers they will be released the following morning. If they did
kill some soldiers they will not be released at all. They must escape or they will be in
the lockhouse when it is overrun. |
