(The Magic Inn) It is difficult to look at the front of this building. It appears to be flowing down into the ground. As you watch, a man steps out through the door and walks off into the crowd. There are two curtained windows at the front.

(Inside the inn) Inside is a brightly coloured room. All the tables are huge mushrooms and the chairs are hedges cut to shape. There is a circular bar in the centre of the room which looks as if it is made of soft material. Inside the bar is a tall man in robes. Sitting around the room are four pairs of people, all in robes.

	The man behind the bar is Jiao Hou Wu. He is the owner of the bar. He has paid huge amounts to get all of the effects done by a Wizard he hired from the capital. He has no magical abilities himself although he does try simple card tricks etc. These usually fail. He will claim to be a personal friend of Wing Ting Mai and to have learned magic with him. Wing Ting Mai does not actually know him at all. This man is willing to lie to any degree to uphold his image.
	The eight people are a permanent programmed illusion. They will turn and look at characters who approach, then look back and talk with their partner. If touched, an image will dispel, but the others will remain as they are all separate. This will leave a person talking to an empty space. The barman will ask any character touching the illusion not to do it again as they took him a long time to get right. If asked he will say they are there to keep him safe from thieves by making the inn look full. If asked to leave the table an illusion will actually go and stand in a corner of the room.
