The tunnels have been built to mount counter attacks once
the city has fallen. They radiate out various distances onto the plains and hills
surrounding the city. Until required they end directly below the location where they are
to come out onto the surface. Some tunnels branch out about halfway down their length into
multiple tunnels. |

When the tunnels are required for a counter attack a soldier
takes down a special wand of digging and uses it to create a shaft with rungs, reaching to
the surface. The soldiers then climb out of the tunnel and attack. To prevent the
opponents from counter attacking through the tunnel, die forces of Wu Tze Lee also have
wands to cave in the tunnels. They are caved in for the length of the second half of the
tunnel. |

When not in use the tunnels are always guarded at the Camp
Five end by eight guards. They will not willingly let anyone pass. |
