night by ten guards. |

View from the city wall for days 1 to 8:-
Troops pour into the city until the morning of day eight. It is obvious that Wu Tze Fang
does not plan to defend the plains in any serious way. On the morning of day eight die
Prince's fleet arrives and the troops, which form the most part seem to be made up of
Mings, push back the defenders until by mid afternoon on day eight the city is under
siege. |
|
View from the city wall for days 9 & 10:-The
forces on the side of Prince Hei Ho Bang attack the wall with their siege weapons. All
their attacks are repelled, though the damaged caused by the evening of day ten means that
things are looking grim. |
|
View from the city wall for day 11:- All
through the night major combats are fought on the wall but repelled. In the morning the
wall is breached in four places and abandoned by its defenders who have the option of
leaving. |
